2025 IRI IJI: ASSEMBLY OF IGBO COMMUNITY KARU, CELEBRATE IRI IJI, AS EZE PROF. IGWE OCHENDO JP CORONATES 17 CHIEFS.

A two day event, organised by Eze Indigbo Gburugburu, the Custodian of Secret Ofor in diaspora to celebrate 2025 New Yam festival.
The coronation was marked the recognition of sons and daughters who have had a landmark impact in their various vocation.
These according to the Royal Highness Eze Prof. Ochendo Chukwudi JP is a way of encouragement appreciating their contributions to humanity. Listed are the recipients: Chief Orji Chukwuemeka, Chief Engr. Joseph Osuagwu, Chief Arc. Godwin Okey Nwaohia, Lolo Celestina Nwanyiodia Nwaohia, Chief Benjamin Elena, Chief Chris Neuse Ugbaku, Chief Emma Nezianya, Chief Mrs. Okoli Maureen Ifeyonwa, Chief Owelle Utuma, chief Fred Child Okoli and others.
Next day of  the event, Prof. Igwe Ochendo installed additional chiefs across the non-igbo tribe which include: High Chief Ikenga,Princess Okoho Mayen Lawani from Cross River as Adaeze Gburugburu 1 of Karu, Nasarawa State. At interaction with the Press received the award as a surprise.
Other personalities who graced the occasion include: the Honourable Minister of Women Affairs who was ably represented by Malam Zakari, Hon. Swami Buba the ZLP  Chairmanship candidate for AMAC, Karu NDLEA Area Commander, a representative of FHQ Police Abuja, S. A. UsmanMr. Gudu, DPO New Nyanya, and others.
Conclusively, the event went successfully as the Royal Majesty officially unveiled the Yam ready by performing according to the traditional rites for the entire Igbo to enjoy the fruits of their harvest.
