Joint Committee Public Hearing. On ICT& Cyber security, Digital & Information Technology (ICT).

The joint Committee of Senate & Honourable House OF Representative on National Dignital Economy and E-Goverance Bill 2025 held public Hearing at Senate New building Room 028, on 10 the November,2025.
Keynote address was presented by the Speaker Rt.Hon.Abbas Tajudeen,PhD, GCON while the Senate President,Distinguished Sen, Godswill Obot.Akpabio,GCON made the opening Declaration of the occasion
Welcome remark was moved by Senator Shuaib Afolabi Salisu,FNCS who is the senate committee Chairman on ICT and Cyber security the chairman of the House committee on Digital & Information Technology moved a vote of Thanks
The honourable minister spoke on the need to support the bill seeking commitment of the bill being the first time.
With the commitment by the joint Committee
"l am sure that the bill will see the light of the day" through the bill we can support Mr President zeal and his agenda to transform the Nigerian economy.The question by Comrade Ayo about how soon the success of the bill will be in place, The Honourable Minister ,reacted, while noting that It was the work of the parliament and with the commitment and the support exhibited by the committee there's assurance that it may not be long for the bill to see the light of the day"
I'm sure with commitment and zeal of the committee members
To support Mr president agenda also being the first time
This bill is promoted.with the full cooperation of the Senators Houses members and the stakeholders,it will not be too long for the bill to see the light of day"
Given the special attention by all the necessary stakeholders, the bill soon be passed.'"
Senator Dike pam from plateau State moved for the Adjournment which was supported by another Senator.
Also, Permeant Secretary,Adeladan Rafiu was captured by his Hallmark contribution amongst other well meaning stakeholders captured at the committee meeting at the senate conference hall of the National Assembly .
