The major purpose of budget gathering by the minister And the agencies at conference room 231,Senate new building on the 19th February 2026, above all was the brief and submission in respect of the level of implementation of 2024 /2025,appropriation,Act and 2026 budget defense by the joint committee of Senate & House of Representatives of the National Assembly.
The budget performance report focuses on Personnel, Recurrent And Capital expenditures and the details of 2026 Budget Proposals submitted to the joint Committee both Senate& House by the Honourable Minister and Agencies of Arts & Creative Economy.
After due diligence and deliberations, the minister was endorsed for her exit while the ministry Agencies gave details of the expenses of releases and behaviour of 2024-& 2025 and how overheads and the suspection arising from the management of Internally Generated Revenue IGR is used.
Before the committee were Adeyemi Isaac of National Film Video Censored Board "NFVCB,Engr,Dangana Abubakar of Nigeria Film Corporations Jos,Dr Balami and Obi Asika the Director General of National Council For Arts & Culture whose challenges was directed to be forwarded through the committee Clerk.
The committee was highly appreciative of the competency capabilities and integrity credibly exhibited by the DG of National Council For Arts And Culture in promoting the cultural mandate.the committee remarked their passions for the DG Mr Obi Asika achievements" we are proud of your passionate achievements and tourism manifestation " we commend your efforts and zeal for raising the sum of 1,200 million coming to the government inspite of the faulty system operational in the country.
The recommendation by the committee is indeed an encouragement for others to take dressing.we must exhibit capacity and integrity with passion as to change the narratives against fraud and corruption 
The National film Video Censored board was however challenged concerning funny display of illegal unauthorised presentation and uncalled video and film show in Nigeria and they were encouraged to do more to censor some of these funny displayed on our Internet.
