A P C National Convention 2026 Success story

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Convention 2026 took place on the 27th of March 2026 at Eagle Square, Abuja. Dignitaries present at the venue shared their thoughts on various issues and concerns that arose during the event, including the successful screening of the aspirants, handling of delegates, the Media/Publicity Committee, and the National Planning Committee, among others.

Hon. Manuchim Umezuruike, member representing Port Harcourt Constituency 1, and a member of the National Screening Committee, presented a clean bill of health regarding the aspirants’ documents, academic records, and all other requirements. He confirmed that all the necessary criteria had been met, thus certifying the aspirants as free of any discrepancies.

The Honourable lawmaker commended the process and expressed confidence that the convention would fulfill the party's and Nigerians' hopes for success.
The theme of the National Convention 2026 was Unity in Progress: Consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda. During the convention, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, was retained to complete his eight-year term as per the tradition. This decision was confirmed by a voice vote. Other members, including the National Secretary and National Chairman, were also ratified by voice vote.
